Frank Lloyd Wright designed Heller house in 1897. It was located only about six blocks north of Robie house.
We stopped by here after we left Robie House. It was privately owned and not open for visiting.
The only thing we could do was parked the car along the street then went to see the exterior of the building.

Heller house looked totally different from Robie house. Comparing to Prairie style's horizontal and short design,
Heller house is tall and looked big and majestic. It is also a rare 3-story building designed by Wright.
In fact I couldn't recognize this building as Wright's design without following the street address.

One thing Heller house resembles Robie house is that the entrance has been hidden from view.
Other than that you can probably try to guess its origin by the building's straight vertical lines,
wide chimney and the art glass windows.
